The United States Office of Mine Action Initiatives and Partnerships is a unique non-partisan resource that concerned citizens, such as those who have come together in Freedom Fields USA, can call upon for support in a true public-private partnership. Freedom Fields USA's strategy will be to use this office as a source of information and technical expertise. This office was created to engage civil society and foster partnerships between the public and private sector.
Freedom Fields USA is working with HALO Trust, a not-for-profit organization, which specializes in the removal of landmines and other unexploded ordnance from post-conflict zones. On average, HALO Trust's administrative costs are less than 7% of income. This ensures that more Freedom Fields USA's donated dollars go directly to our humanitarian activities.
